Sure, I’ll Swing That Way

I’m going to visit some friends across the state tomorrow.  Tomorrow night, we’re all going swing dancing.  We’ll hit some vintage shops that afternoon, to see if we can find era-appropriate clothes.  I anticipate either having a great time, or tripping badly and falling into the band’s string section.

A Nice Neutral Feeling

A fun way to smash hopes after voting is to call a friend of the opposite political party and remind them that your vote cancelled theirs out.  It’s especially fun if they waited in line for 4 hours.
Just don’t say that to someone you can’t outrun, as tensions run high with politics.

A Cut Above

Two Fridays ago I got my hair cut.  (Yes, all of them.)  My hair barely touches my shoulders now. 
Drastic? Yes. 
Refreshing? Yes. 
A good decision?  Apparently so.
