Happy Naked Entrance Anniversary to Me!
Yes, 27 years ago today I entered the world, unclothed and small. Today, I indulge only in occasional nudity, and I am much bigger. It seems I have come a long way. My best friend Rachel threw me a party yesterday - my close friends and even my parents (who are also my close friends) were there. […]

10 Things You May Or May Not Know About Me
10. I prefer 1-ply toilet paper.
9. I don’t care for green tea.
8. I’m doing Weight Watchers, and it’s really not that bad. I’ve lost over 10 pounds so far.

Almost A Month
Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve still got a bit of blog block hanging on. What should I write about? No idea is too crazy…

Because It Worked So Well The First Time
Vice President Cheney will soon have the battery in his pacemaker replaced. I, for one, think that the doctors should use the proven effectiveness of the Administration’s Iraq Approach* to this situation:
1. Make a system so we know when the VP’s health is safe, and when he’s in imminent danger of a [heart] attack. (I’m thinking maybe some sort of […]

Nice Work If You Can Get It
I must apologize for my infrequent posting and commenting these past few months. I lost my job in May, and in addition to joining the ranks of the unemployed in Michigan, I also joined the ranks of those who do not have convenient Internet access. Here’s hoping I find […]

I am back in Michigan. Our vacation went fine; other than a cancellation of a flight and subsequent re-routing, there were no travel problems.
But now, the promised pictures. This vacation was the first time I got to meet my Aunt Lily and baby cousin Anna. My Uncle Gary got married in Georgia (the country, not […]

Maine Street
I’m in Maine right now on vacation with my family. I haven’t had access to high-speed Internet until today, that’s why I haven’t posted for the past few days.
So, to catch you up…
We left for Maine Tuesday morning from the Traverse City, MI airport. The night before, however, I was running errands, and rear-ended a […]

Myth USA
This post will ultimately be about cultural myths, but I must give you some background information.
I like discussion. I like thinking about things and mulling them over. I like “arguing” for the sake of arguing. (”Arguing” as in discussing.) Sometimes in a discussion, I’ll play devil’s advocate, or just keep asking questions until I’m surprised when […]

I Got Inked!
I’m not going to lie. It hurt like heck. But I was a trooper. The only time I even flinched was the few times my leg muscle involuntarily spasmed. It only took about 15 minutes for the tattoo artist to do my tattoo. Rachel took pictures:
So there you have it! My very first tattoo.

Interview With My Feet
Seeing as I am getting a tattoo on my foot this Thursday at 6:30 (finally got an appointment - yay!), I figured it was only fair that I give my feet some face time (er…foot time?) on my blog. I sat down with my feet today and had a heart-to-heart (er…heart to toe?).
Me: First of […]
