Whaddaya Say About Tat

Posted May 19th, 2007 by Playtah

Well, we weren’t able to get an appointment for our tattoos this weekend, so hopefully Wednesday will be our day - it’s the soonest date that would work for Rachel and me.

I was told that my tattoo design wouldn’t be able to be put on the side of my foot.  They suggested the calf or the top of my foot.  I’d really like it to be on the side of my foot, so I sent a new design suggestion.  I actually kind of like it better than the first.

It’s simpler than the other design, and still has the same meaning.

Do you like the new design?

I’m not sure that I like it better, but it does look a bit less like an ad for orange juice.

I must have missed the first blog explaining your decision to get a tattoo, and a matching symbol with Rachel. My friend, Christina, and I went to get our first tattoos together just over 3 years ago. We both decided on Greek words in the lower middle back, although we chose different words. Her’s is the word for “grace” and I chose a word which means “loved by God.” I like the thought that you have put into your design. Remember when you wrote on my blog recently that you liked the bag I sewed and thought Tim’s design looked like a tree…well you were right! It’s supposed to be a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired tree. So we like trees and I like your idea. Have a blast getting it. I hear the ankle hurts!

When you say you want it on the side of your foot, are you saying the inside or the outside… More near your ankle to toes? Just trying to picture it.

I would love to get a tatoo, but I’m so indecisive, it’s hard to find something that I will always be passionate about, and always appreciate the design.

My sister has a tatoo on the top of her foot. it is really pretty. The guy did a really good job.

Anywhoo, it’s very exciting! Congrats. Let us know how it goes.

nice simple design. makes it easy. gotta agree with laughingattheslut that the first one looks like a picture on my orange juice container.
