I Heart iTunes
I just joined iTunes yesterday, and I love it! Ninety-nine cents per song is great - there are so many songs I like, but wouldn’t want to buy a whole album to get them. Here are the songs I’ve downloaded so far:
Love Train by The O’Jays
Canned Heat by Jamiroquai
Tom’s Diner by Suzanne Vega & D.N.A.
More Than Words by Extreme
Glamorous by Fergie
No Rain by Blind Melon
Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae
Thank You for Being a Friend by Andrew Gold
Theme from “Golden Girls” by Countdown Singers (although, FYI, the theme on the actual show was sung by Cindy Fee)
The Nearness of You by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong
Gold Digger by Kanye West & Jamie Foxx
Candyman by Christina Aguilera
Got To Be Real by Cheryl Lynn
The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani
Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty
Sixteen Tons by
Fame by Irene Cara
Rock Lobster by The B-52’s
Zombie by The Cranberries
Everybody Loves Somebody by Dean Martin
Mac the Knife by Bobby Darin
Daddy’s Little Girl by Al Martino
A Bushel and a Peck by Perry Como

What can I say? I’m eclectic.

I half explected to see Alice’s Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie in there.
Also can’t be too many people that listen to Tennessee Ernie Ford and the B-52’s.

Remember Alice? This is a song about Alice.
Rock Lobster is on a bunch of CDs that I had to sell at the Halloween Store. I have no idea what Rock Lobster has to do with Halloween. And I have heard that song quite enough to last me for the next ten years or so.

Isn’t “16 Tons” a great song? I’ve not heard it since the 1970s though.

Did you know that you can have unlimited downloads on Napster for a monthly fee of $9.95 or so?
