Picture Time

Posted April 24th, 2007 by Playtah

As you may know, I am currently down in North Carolina on a business trip.  Our office is in this building:

It’s in an office park, and I usually sit in my car next to the fountain and pond during my lunch:

This weekend I went to Holden Beach, NC.  I took some great pictures on film (which I haven’t gotten developed yet), but I took this picture of my sunburn with my camera phone.  I’ve enhanced it a bit so you can see just how bad it is.  It HURTS:

Besides becoming a cancer magnet at the beach, I also found this cool shell:

And here’s a picture of the haircut I got before leaving for North Carolina :

So there you go.  My pictoral update.

45 spf. ’nuff said. (as I apply aloe to the back of my neck) hadn’t had to put sunscreen on the back of my neck for two years…….evil evil daystar.

Like the hair, but you have always been beautiful. Just a note, the Heritage students are on senior trip at Holden Beach this week, but you probably already know that. Woodsy

    Verra Nice!!! Sexy Time!!
That sunburn looks like it HURTS!!!! What were you thinking?
Now you definitely can’t move to NC. Who is going to make sure that you use your sunscreen?
Nope, you have to stay here.

    The beach sounds like fun.

    Your hair looks great.

I agree about sunscreen, but have you noticed that the spf numbers keep getting bigger. At one time, we were told wearing spf45 was as good as sitting in a dark cave. But now I see spf 50 and 70 and 80.

I think it’s the same logic by which blades keep getting added to disposable razors. I thiunk we’re up to 4 or five now.

I remember, just after Bic came out with the first double track razors, SNL did a parody ad for a triple-track razor. The tagline was “Because frankly, you’ll buy anything.”

There’s sometimes a fine line between comedy and prophecy.

Hey hunny! Ouch! That sunburn looks just aweful. I hope you have mad aloe dude. That stuff always seems to help.

Anyway, I’m so glad you put those pix up! It’s neat to be able to see what’s going on in your neck of the woods. Some people here say they miss you, but I do the mostest:)

MiniJonB: You know, I think that Playtah needs some 91-minute lunch breaks just so she can find out.

WOW, that sunburn looks awsome. I get that sunburned even when I use 45spf. Put lots of lotion on it so you will be able to move.

    Good Times at the beach.

Have you thrown any pennies into the pond yet?

That is a neat lookin’ shell.
