Last Weekend Before the Audition
This weekend I will be working on material for my audition in Minneapolis. I went online to see if there was anything I could find out about the audition from people who had been there before. Reading about their experience and some of their material, I feel out of my league. I haven’t been doing stand-up very long, and I hope I can at least do the audition and not shame my family. :) I think I’ll do ok, but I don’t expect to pass the audition. But I DO hope to have a good time either way! If you could say a prayer for me on Tuesday, I’d appreciate it. Thank you for your support!

No matter what happens you will be great. If you go into it thinking you have no chance then maybe it will relax you and you can kick some comic *&^(*^%

Knock ‘em dead, Wendy. It’s just a shame Anon isn’t here to lend his support as well. You’ll be great!

Not going to back out, are you?
Do it anyway, just for the experience. Then you’ll know what it is like and can make a more informed decision about doing it again.
And who knows, something might come of it this time. They might look at you and think, hey, cool, she’s different.

Break a leg Wendy. My guess: you’ll do fantastic.
You’ve got nothing to worry about re being in over your head:
Noah’s Ark was built by amatuers. The Titanic was built by professionals. Nuff said.

It’s Tuesday night. Your mom & I talked at work about your audition. Did you have to stand in line for hours? I can’t wait to ask Betty about what happened. Hopefully, you called her. Moms are cool. Yeah, they are… Love you, Wendy. Fran. (P.S. Great pix of you and Cindy Sheehan - last year!! I just saw it. Peace.)
