Tomorrow

Posted January 9th, 2007 by Playtah

Well, President Bush is going to disclose his plan for Iraq tomorrow. I see it going one of three ways:

1. He listens to Congress and the American people and announces that we will have a definite exit strategy. He and Cheney then resign, allowing Nancy Pelosi and Congress to set about the work of recovering from his administration’s massive incompetence. (As much as I would like it….if this option is chosen, it should be noted that flying monkeys will emerge from my posterior.)

2. He completely ignores any type of counsel that disagrees with his bad ideas, cites Saddam’s hanging as a “victory” in the war against terror and anti-democracy, repaints his disasterous “Stay the Course” policy as “Surge and Accelerate”, and continues to remind us of the guy at the casino blackjack table compounding his debt while trying to win his money back. He may also try to work in something about faith to reassure his right-wing base that he’s a “man of God”.

3. The light hits the cameraman’s watch just right, and the President spends all of his camera time chasing the reflection on the wall, knocking himself out when the mysterious light goes under his desk.

Unfortunately, the order of likelihood (from most likely to least) is: 2, 3, 1.

**Sigh** Only two more years.

Miracles do happen, in which case, you must post pics of the flying monkeys.

Or the power hungry democrats with that dyke they elected to lead them will start by doing what they do best by ignoring what is best for the country and doing what is best for the Democratic party.

Andy - Your comment made me laugh out loud. :)

    ANON1 - I’m sensing a pattern here: Republicans = good, democrats = evil.
Power hungry? That seems to describe President Bush pretty well.

If #1 had happened, I SO would have brought my digital camera to capture those flying monkeys.
Then I would sell them and make millions!!!

Started ranting here, but realized I had the makings of a post.

Thanks for helping me ratchet up my outrage.

Nancy Pelosi scares me. I feel like when she looks at the TV screen she is looking righ at me and I should automatically go to the corner or like I will melt. You should watch the YouTube for CNN’s Paula Zahn show from Friday and do a blog on that. Her “panel” was a bunch of idiots who didn’t know what they were talking about. It didn’t deal with politics, but on Chinese adoption. And it pissed off a lot of people, which always means it is a good topic.
