Happy Feet
I like free stuff.
I don’t mind embarrassing myself.
I love movies.
Thus, when my friend Leigh offered to pay for my movie ticket and food if I went to see “Happy Feet” while wearing my penguin costume, I said “Yes.” So she, her husband, and their beautiful baby girl and I went to see Happy Feet last Friday.

This is me sipping a pop (that I didn’t pay for, thanks to the deal), and holding a bag of popcorn inside of the theater.
There were a couple of kids that said “hi” to me before the movie. Although I had a brief urge to see how they’d react if a giant penguin started attacking their parents, I relented, smiled, and said hi.
For the record, the movie was very cute.

And did you wear your cow costume to that barnyard movie a few months ago? Grizzy took the kid and they loved it…..
I can’t wait ’til YOU have kids. They’re going to be so lucky, having a mommy who is so much fun! Just remember, ‘you just can’t duct tape the baby!’

Woo Hoo! Penguins rock. It was a really good movie and a good time was had by all.

Great. Another night of six-foot penguin nightmares.
Sigh.

Gracie - My cow costume has been missing in action for several years now. Can you believe it? I hope I’m a fun mom. Can I use electrical tape?
Erin - Glad I could make you laugh! (Of course, a 6 ft penguin will do that, you know.)
Deb - Sure!
Leigh - A good time was indeed had by all.

Jay - You have those too?

I wish that I would have been there. I probably would have laughed the entire time.
I bet you got lots of smiles from the staff at the theater as well as the kids.
BTW ~ Duct tape works MUCH better than electrical tape.
Miss you!!!!
