…And Your Giant Dog, Too
There are many unfunny things in the world–disasters, suffering, SARS, and any host of a “funny videos” show. However, these all fade into the background when compared with the monarch of unfunny…Marmaduke.
For the life of me, I don’t know how the Marmaduke comic strip has lasted this long. It is one of the most un-funny comics ever. The comic basically consists of the cartoon people saying what the cartoon dog is doing. This is my impression of a Marmaduke cartoon:
Yeah, not funny at all. Seriously…go here and see if you find any Marmaduke cartoons that make you laugh.
It’d be a lot funnier if there was something you had to think about, or more intense sarcasm, or something. If I made the Marmaduke comic strips, they’d be more like this:
There you go. Current events, biting comments, and a little bit of truth. Now that’s comedy.

When you are I were talking about Marmaduke the other day, I was confusing Marmaduke for Clifford The Big Red Dog…
Yeah, Marmaduke is about as unfunny a cartoon strip as you can get.
I like Clifford The Big Red Dog though.
