Racing Stripes

Here’s a little tip for enjoying your time at the pool this summer: When you use your friend’s spray-on sunblock, don’t just have them spray your front and back.  Remember to have them spray the strip on your arms that didn’t get covered by the first two sprays.  No, really.

    Yikers!

Funny that this should happen just now, so close to sister’s wedding….my sister was married 24 years ago today to her first husband and I was making a LoooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOng road trip back from Kentucky to be her matron of honor…had my arm out the window, yes, and burned it all the way down. Only thing that wasn’t red was where my t-shirt sleeve covered it, and of course with my arm bent, it had a weird angle thingy going on, too. My dress had a long sheer chiffon sleeve and I actually did put makeup all down that arm to try and tone it down some…but you could still see it two days later at the wedding.

Why don’t you spray a different pattern on next time so you can play tic-tac-toe when you get bored?

Hey, it isn’t my fault. You shouldn’t have eaten so many vegetables. I can’t reach that high.
