Peace, Life, Truth
I’m kind of excited–tonight I am going to hear Cindy Sheehan speak in Kalamazoo. Here is a person who has endured tremendous personal loss, yet has had the courage and the energy to speak out about against something she feels is wrong (and many others feel that way too).
I watched a short interview with her on the news last night. She was softspoken, and when asked who she blames for her son’s death, she didn’t launch a barrage of heated insults against the President. Instead, she basically stated that we were lied to about the war, and that she blames the administration. She did a very good job answering the question in a mature, calm manner.
I hope I get a good seat tonight, and that I get to meet her. She has done a lot to mobilize people in a peaceful manner against the war. May we all have the courage to stand for what we believe, just as Cindy Sheehan has.
I’ll let you know how it goes!

Cindy Sheehan is an interesting person. I don’t know how long I would have been able to stay someplace peacefully protesting before I would get so frustrated that I would have either given up or lost it.
Hope you have a great time.
