Pep Talk
When life hands you lemons, you’ve got to get back on the horse. There’s always more fish in the sea, and every fish has a silver lining. Always look on the bright side, because lightning never strikes twice in the same spot. Rome was not built in a day, but we built this city on rock and roll. When the going gets tough, we must not ask what our country can do for us, but what does it have to do with the price of tea in China? Life is hard, and a hard Mike’s is good to find. Someday my ship will come in, but you can’t pick your friend’s nose. The best laid plans of mice and men reap what they sow between a rock and a hard place. No man is an island, and even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. You can change horses midstream, but it’s all water under the bridge. The only thing we have to fear is a rolling stone that gathers no moss. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, and a bird in the hand is worth a thousand words. So get a new lease on life, with a 10-year, 100,000 mile power train warranty. It’s a new day, so lather, rinse, and repeat.

I am not sure which is scarier. That you remembered all of those motivational quotes or that I knew them too.

I am so glad that you gave us this little talk! We also decided at work today that we’d only talk in song titles and cliches… Of course, on the day that we couldn’t remember any! Then you come to the rescue!
Thanks!
