The Nuts Are Running The Squirrel House

Yesterday was a wondrous day of free food for me.  At McDonald’s in the morning (where I stop too often for breakfast) one of the drive-thru guys, Micasio, whom I always smile at, put an extra breakfast burrito and hashbrown in my bag.  (This was wonderful for when I got hungry later.)  Then after work I stopped at a European store/bakery to get some bread.  I smiled at the man who was slicing my bread.  He gave me an extra loaf.

Conclusion:  Either a) I have a face that inspires others to enjoy life and be the best they can be, prompting them to show their gratitude with baked goods and breakfast comestibles, or b) I look hideously pitiful when I try to express happiness.

Either way, I got free stuff.
