I went home this weekend. I had rehearsal for the comedy show at the church in which I grew up, and I also got to hang out at home. I mentioned in a previous post (either on this site or on my old Xanga site) that my goldfish Pucker lives at my Mom and Dad’s house in a refrigerator drawer. I finally have a picture for you:
Kind of reminds me of that old joke where the man finds a rabbit in his refrigerator:
Man:What are you doing in my refrigerator?
Rabbit: This is a Westinghouse, isn’t it?
Man: Yes.
Rabbit: Well, I’m westing!
My fish is westing and welaxing with the other fish in the drawer, my sister’s fish, Big Eye.
I arrived back at my apartment at about 1 am this morning and went to bed. My power went off sometime early this morning. Good thing my alarm clock has battery backup. Once I got up, I tried the faucet and found that the water pressure was still decent, so I thought I’d take a quick shower. I forgot one important factor–when the power goes off, the water heater doesn’t work. Sheesh. I wasn’t about to start my morning with hypothermia. Suddently the American spirit rose up in me. **Start inspirational back ground music** If Lewis and Clark could trek through the wilderness, If Washington’s troops could fight at Valley Forge, if a stoneworker could carve the faces of four presidents on the side of a hill, surely I could wash my hair in cold water. **End inspirational music** I filled up a bucket and washed my hair.
You’d think that by that time I’d be wide awake, but I felt the need for some McDonald’s coffee anyways.
Oh, yeah. Premium Roast.

Hope your practice went great. I wish that I could be there. Can you give us a hint on what you have all come up with?
Pucker looks HUGE. He must love the extra fin room compared to his itty bitty tank that he had before.
Is there a BIGGER cup of coffee available in the world???? Holy Moses!!
